                            It is easy to cook and light  on the stomach. Vasanai Seeraga Samba Rice is ideal for summer. It is used to make biryani, pulavs, kheer, and pongal. 

VASANAI SEERAGA SAMBA RICE  CULTIVATION

                             It is normally  cultivated in Tamilnadu  during Samba and Navarai( between July15 to January 14th and December 15 th to March 14th.)  The rice is traditional paddy varieties of Tamilnadu.
