How is roasted chana cultivated?
Roasted gram is mainly used as a snack. It involves separating husks from the cotyledons, the embryonic leaves within the seed.These cotyledons are subsequently split after which they are washed, polished and greded.In Tamil Nadu the crop is cultivated in districts of Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Dindigul,Thiruvallur, Kancheepuram, Erode, Salem and Namakkal.

CHANA CHAAT
Roasted chana- 1 cup
Chopped cucumber- ¼ cup
Chopped tomato- ¼ cup
Chopped onion-¼ cup
Chopped coriander-2 tablespoon
Salt to taste
Chopped green chili- 1
Lime juice- 1 tablespoon
Take a bowl and add the Roasted chana- 1 cup then add all these ingredients and mix well and the Roasted chana chaat will prepare.
