Raw peanuts are also uncooked but have been dried/dehydrated before boiling (usually in a bowl full of water overnight). Consuming raw peanuts or groundnuts in moderation is generally considered safe for more people.

How are groundnuts cultivated?
Groundnuts in India are available throughout the year due to a two-crop cycle harvested in March and October. Groundnuts are important protein crops in India grown mostly under rain-fed conditions.Groundnuts are propagated through seeds. Summer cultivation of groundnut is predominantly practiced in states such as Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat and Maharashtra.

How to check the quality
*The peanut moisture content.
*The presence of moudly, rancid or decomposed kernels.
*Mature pods should be well-filled with large seeds that take up most of the pod.
How to storage
*Deterioration of groundnut can be considerably reduced by storing them in properly built stores.
*Raw peanuts must be stored in an airtight container in a dry, cool place or, if shelled, in a freezer or refrigerator for up to 6 months.
How to cook
Peanut curry
1.Over night soaked or fresh peanuts.
- Adding 2 cup water and add peanuts
3.Add ½ tablespoon salt.
- 2 whistle sounds come
5.Take mixer and then add 15 garlic cloves and 15 small onions and 4 tomatoes and 1 tablespoon salt, ½ garam masala, 1 tablespoon chili powder, 1 tablespoon coriander powder, ½ tablespoon cumin seed, ⅛ tablespoon turmeric powder, ¼ tablespoon pepper, and 2 tablespoon chopped coconut, ¼ fennel seed powder, small lemon size tamarind.
6.Grind it like a paste.
7.Add 2 brinjal
8.Add grinded masala into boiled peanuts and mix well
9.Add 2 tablespoon oil and some mustard
10.Pour into the curry then mix
11.Add some coriander leaves.
12.Two whistle sound
13.Ready to serve
